Resolved Question

My computer won't shut down.

Jan 12, 2012 12:23PM PST

I have a Toshiba, about a year old, Win 7. When I went to shut it off, it got as far as the blue screen that says logging off and it has been that way for hours I shut it off with the switch and that didn't help.

Remove the AC and wait for it to run out.

Yes, you could hold the power button for up to 60 seconds to shut off too.
