A laptop should gracefully shut down when the battery becomes empty and start-up regularly later.

In the video I see you choose normal processing and that doesn't work. What happens if you choose the other option from the menu, called 'startup repair'?

If I choose the other option it will ask me to insert a windows repair disk and I do not have that

But as you can imagine, details about the laptop, OS and maybe more are required. I didn't find these details in the posts so far.

First things first...did you do the standard battery removal reinstall? Have you tried to boot into Safe Mode?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
