I am using a HP windows xp professional. it has been working just fine until yesterday I recieved a cd from road runner/time warner cable to install aol. i already had aol but was told to install this one because they merged and i was not to pay extra for aol anymore. puter kept freezing up on me and started to drag, i left it along and tried again this morning. well aol keeps insisting that i restart the computer and it never allows me to get into aol. then inoticed my computer is not recognizing that I have installed two drives. one for cd's and another for dvds both internal. i go to system properties devive manager and it shows nothing. as if there is no hardware installed in my compter. i go to start, computer, and it shows only my c drive, m drive floppy drive and no cd and or dvd drives. please help.
