Question

my computer keeps rebooting or shuting down without notice

have newer (7mo)acer computer. it keeps shutting down on its own, it also will "lock" so i cant move the mouse for several seconds at a time. more like freezes up.. i never hear the fan come on.. and often it go to a blue screen.. it has been restored, had everything put back to factory by acer tech support.. runs verrry slow.. just dont know what to do or where to start.. need help

At 7 months this is a warranty issue.

i have called them several times, each time they have me do a complete restore on this computer and it still is having the same problems.. not sure what else to do or try. i have an identical computer to this bought several weeks apart and i dont have any issues with this computer

Nice to read you do have a working machine but I don't see how that affects the one that needs service.

It could well be the fan not working. This would keep overheating your PC and making it shut down.

checked out the fan it is working properly...i have ran programs to clean out virus, says i have none, just dont know what else to do. thanks for any info or thought i might check out
