Question

My computer doesn't load login box of a particular company

Oct 24, 2015 7:39AM PDT

my computer does not display the login box where I should type my username and password. When I click login it is supposed to display the login box, but it doesn't. This issue is only with one account. I do not have this issue on other computers. Neither with any other computer accounts... I have a few of them. company tech. support says the issue is with the computer, not at their end.
I am using windows 10, Edge browser, 3 year old Acer computer.
I would appreciate any suggestion. Thanks. Jacob

Right clk and see if you have option to load the frame in a separate page by itself, where it will then work,

Or contact the site and inform them their site doesn't work for you.

If using any script blockers like "No Script" then may have to allow some exception at that site.

I am not aware of me using any 'script blockers". Is there any default script blockers on windows 10? how do I check it? where? thanks

I have windows 10 in a virtual drive
Oct 24, 2015 9:07AM PDT

and I did the Insider Preview with it. Frankly though, since I used Mint Linux as my main system I got tired of it quickly and not up on all it's tricks. Other than changing security settings for the internet in it, I don't know what more you could do, unless you wanted to try a different browser in Windows 10, like Chrome or Firefox. It's possible the site is using an older encryption method for https connections and one that's no longer in windows 10, being deprecated and no longer a safe encryption.

thanks , James. I was thinking of trying Firefox. May I ask another stupid question. If I download Firefox will it cause any issues with windows 10 and my current browser?

I have a pair of 10's at home.

And both have Firefox and Chrome installed without issue.

Then again I used Ninite to go get these browsers.

And finally did you try it with both IE and Edge?
