My computer doesnt boot up !

i have a intel p4 , 1.6GHz processor with 256MB of RAM.
my video card is nvidia riva tnt2 (32MB memory).
i have a mercury KOB 845 NDFSX main board.(845 D).
AMI bios.
recently i had to transport my pc. the journey was a 200 mile on a bumpy road.
after this when i switch on my computer it gives continuous beeps in this pattern. 2-8-2-1(fast ones).
i checked for loose RAM. I tried replugging the hard disk cables. it wont work. what do i do.
please help me.

Did you also reset the video card? Mine used to do this if I bumped the case just right until I got a MOBO that
locked it in. chuck
