Are you sure you have ECC ram? Not enough information. Do you see anything burnt?

Yes, my ram is ECC... The only thing that looks burnt is my processor and one of my ram sticks.

Than most likely you put the processor improperly. Nothing you can really do, but buy replacement parts. Not sure if this is covered under warranty.

heatsink not properly seated?

it doesn't take long for the cpu to burn out if the heastsink isn't on correctly, usually the fit should be snug and tight. hopefully you can exchange the cpu. it's also possible now that the motherboard was or is now damaged as well as one or more of the ram sticks
