Question

My asus K52N will not come on

It is about 6 years old, There is very quiet fan noise. The power button is lit up, the front light bulb icon is lit and the charging light is green. I feel warmth coming from the left side. If I try to hard shut off while plugged in the power light goes off and comes right back on. The screen is black, I have tried unplugging it, taking the battery out and holding down the power button for 60 sec,
