A recurring issue with restore CDs is when we have something extra in the USB ports or what's not stock?
Bob
I faced a very confusing situation during Win XP Installation in My 1 years old Acer Aspire T310 PC.
It spent a lot of my time already to install. Now I'm feeling stuck already.
I feel that I have done everything I could to resolve this problem but nothing seems worked.
It's really very strange for me, I have tried using the Recovery CD that packed inside and it was working until remaining 34 Minutes more to complete and then stop at that point.
I tried also to install using new WIN XP CD Setup (Installer) but the same things happen.
I tried also to reformat both of FAT32 and NTFS and reinstalled it, but it just the same.
I tried to install using the lower OS (WIN2K) and it succesfully installed. Then after that I tried to upgrade WIN2K into WINXP but again I faced the same things.
I tried to switch the memory (there are 2 RAMs) but failed again.
Last things I tried to took out the Harddrive (HDD) and put it in another PC then Install WIN XP. The installation was running so smoothly until complete. Then I took it back and placed it in the ACER Aspire T310 PC and hope the succesfull installed WIN XP in it's drive will work there. But unfortunately, it could not open the Logon Screen and always open only the Windows is Not Properly Shutdown and asked whether we want continue or Go to Safe Mode or go to Safe Mode With Command Prompt or Last Known Good Configuration and etc. But anything I choose the PC always reboot.
Now I frustated already to have WIN XP installed in this PC. Is there anybody can help or share with me to deal this problem ?
Hopefully somebody can help me.
