My Acer Aspire M1641 Built-In Video Card Is Dying

Dec 11, 2011 9:20PM PST

Two months ago,I was losing my picture, but thanks to CNET members suggestions,I shut down the Screensaver.
Now I have to reboot the computer a few times to retain the picture.I expect the video to disappear altogether soon. The built-in on the motherboard card is a NVIDIA GEFORCE 7100.Looks like I have to buy a plug n play card.Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Jack

Plug & Play

Thanks for the info.I haven't installed a video card for about 10 years and
I confused it with the 'plug and play' feature that was available for monitors & printers on the
the old Windows 98SE system.I will buy another card soon.
