The firmware itself would have to be installed, and for that specific unit, there is no firmware available. I can't quote prices, because I'm not service, but you can reach the service department at 800-SAMSUNG and they can assign someone in your area. You are free to shop around, of course, but it's likely something internal is wrong with your unit.
I turned the tv on and it didn't turn on. It tries to turn on but nothing happens. There is no sound but an occasional popping noise. The blue ring around the on and off switch blinks. It was working perfectly all these days with no apparent problems. What could be the problem? The model number of this tv is HP-R5072. It is a plasma 52 inch tv. How much can I expect to pay to have this tv repaired? Could this be do to some firmware being broadcasted?
