Must have missed the news....................

by Mac McMullen / August 21, 2005 3:40 AM PDT

Did I miss somewthing ? I certainly didn't see anything about this on prime time news. Cindy certainly kept their attention. Surely highlights the bias of the media.

Motorcycle riding veterans make a ride to Crawford to show support of the President.

'' The group of riders arrived in Crawford about 12:30 Saturday afternoon. In all, about 100 Legion riders in more than 300 motorcycles made the trip to Crawford, Snow said. The riders will return this afternoon.''

Hmmm?? 100 riders, 300 motorcycles
by William Finder / August 21, 2005 5:28 AM PDT

That means one rider for every three motorcycles. Some feat!

Did you read the article?
by C1ay / August 21, 2005 5:43 AM PDT

People that actually followed the link and actually read the article would see that it also said, " Many people, including active duty military personnel, came up to the group just to say "Thank you."" Legion riders among the 300 total riders amounted to a 100.

I read it just fine.

(NT) (NT) Anything positive to say about the ride?

I don't find anything 'positive' about ANY demonstration. All they serve to do is give the nut cases their 15 mins of media exposure, give the media something else about which to make mountains out of mole-hills, and accomplish absolutely nothing.

the media

just views "those" kind of people as right wing extremist nut cases and ignores them. Whereas, Cindy to them is "mainstream"

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
