Musicmatch licensing problem.

Jan 27, 2006 2:04AM PST

I upgraded my OS from Windows XP Home to Windows XP Professional recently. When I went to transfer my purchased Musicmatch downloads to my portable device, I got the message, ''Cannot transfer track. It does not have the necessary rights.'' I then tried to play the tracks on Musicmatch Jukebox Plus 10 and consistently got the error message, ''Incorrect parameter., 80070057.'' I tried to play them using WMP 10, and received the error message, ''An error of unknown origin occurred...''

I contacted Musicmatch tech support (which has never, by the way, been helpful to me) and they had me uninstall the Musicmatch Jukebox software, download it again from their website and re-install it (Entire process took one hour to complete). All to no avail. Now, they are telling me to update WMP 10. When I check for updates, the WMP tells me I have the most up-to-date version of the software.

Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions?
