Musicmatch jukebox

Mar 10, 2004 2:00AM PST

When I was trying to click onto my Musicmatch Jukebox icon, a box labeled Error Starting Program appeared saying A Required .DLL file, MMGIT.DLL, was not found. What do I do? I have an HP computer with ME. Please help. Thank you.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling this software?

If I uninstall and reinstall this program, will I lose all of the music I have previously saved to my playlist? Thanks.

Loss.

Are you revealing that you don't back your stuff up?

In short, we only lose what we don't backup. As to MMJ, as far as I know, the settings and files are not deleted unless the user asks it to delete such, but again, if you didn't back stuff up, who is to say that what has survived this problem?

Yes, I admit that I don't backup my stuff because I have never learned how. Can you give me some info on the subject? As to my original problem, I uninstalled and reinstalled MMJ and while holding my breath, I did get everything back. But I still need to learn how to backup. Thank you for your help.

Learn about CD recorders, and the CD recording software that comes with such. At 700 MB per disk, put what you can't lose there.
