Music Use

Jan 14, 2005 1:59AM PST

I subscribe to a number of music source including iTunes and Microsoft Music. I created a slide show in Premiere Pro with some videos about a trip to Catalina Island with my family and wanted to use the Four Preps version of "26 Miles" as well as the local favorite "Avalon" as background.
After paying and downloading the selections, I attempted to import them into my program buts informed that "the files contains copyrighted information" and that I must select another source.
I know that the encryption systems are designed to prevent unauthorized copying but I only wanted the music for this particular project and probably wouldn't have purchased them otherwise.
Am I doing something wrong? How can I use my music in my side show for private use?
