music storage

Dec 5, 2009 3:50AM PST

I just bought a new computer and am loving the speed the system runs at. I'd like to keep it that way. On my old computer I have 13 GB of music. If I migrate it to the new computer, will it slow it down, and if so, what would be the best way of storing it with easy access to, say, syncing my mp3 player (I have a zune with zune software).

My computer is an HPG40, running Win7, Pentium Dual Core T4200 (2Ghz), 4 GB RAM, 300GB internal hard drive.

Has TOO MANY stories of lost files. 13 GB is all of 2 dual layer DVD media or 4 singles. If you feel your collection is worth saving, make a backup.

Either get an external HDD or burn it to disk, if you need a hard copy.
