My neighbor tossed dozens of CDs in his machine using CDEX. He's almost a luddite and still was able to rip his CDs and make compilations from the collection later.
And CDEX is free too. Where? Google.com

PS. Never toss the originals.
I am thinking of saving all my music CD's to my hard drive. I am running Windows XP and have an 80g HD. I would like to know what would be the best way to save the CD's?
I would also consider a separate Hard Drive just for music. I tried it with Windows Media Player and found after only a few CD's, my hard drive was filling up fast. I have over 125 music CD's. Can anyone suggest a program or method to help me out?
Thanks
Dan
