music in wrong folder HELP

I recently expanded the file size of about 10 cd's that i had downloaded into my windows media player.But the new files were sent to MY MUSIC in My Documents folder.Why did this happen and how do I move them back to my media library? Thanks

Microsoft updates apparently changed that.

Seems to be where Microsoft wants such to go now. Look around WMP for settings of the folders.

I use CDEX since I wanted to be in control of that.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the problem. The Media Library is just a collection of links to music files stored on your computer. If you copied music tracks from CD to your computer, then you could have placed them to a location/folder of your choice. I believe the default folder is My Music in your My Documents folder.

In Windows Media Player, goto Tools > Options > Media Library tab. Here you can add folders to your Media Library.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean where you say you "expanded" the file size of 10 CD's. How did you do that, and what for?
