Music @ Home

I have all my music on a laptop (wireless internet connection) to play thru my receiver. I would like to listen to the same music on my desktop across the home and upstairs while playing on the laptop. Is this possible both running XP Home Edition?

While it is possible to stream from one machine and play on all machines today's software fails to allow us to make one fine adjustment to allow for network delay. It never sounds good that one machine is 0.1 seconds ahead of the others.

you say 1/10th of a second differance or is that 1 second? across the house and upstairs I do not think you would even notice at 1/10th of a second.
