Music downloads, help!

by eyeeyecaptain / September 6, 2010 4:27 PM PDT

I used to use limewire, and it gave my computer a virus. I need new songs for my iPod but I need a safe, virus free, music download. and if you could tell me how to work that music downloader, that would be great too.

Any suggestions, please? greatly appreciated!

If you have an iPod, Apple prefers you use the iTunes store to buy your music. But also sells mp3's for a reasonable price.

A third alternative is buy a CD and 'rip' it (with either iTunes or Windows Mediaplayer, for example) to mp3-format so you put it on your iPod. But it's only legal to listen to such an mp3 as long as you own the CD. Using a CD from someone else, or selling it after you made the mp3's isn't allowed for copyright reasons.
