I see that site every morning when I'm going through social bookmarking sites. I kept thinking it was something else though, I'll definitely look into it. Thanks for posting!
Did anyone check out pandora.com? It's a part of the Music Genome Project which started out as "On January 6, 2000 a group of musicians and music-loving technologists came together with the idea of creating the most comprehensive analysis of music ever."
Not sure if this has been posted or spoken of here before. I know Launchcast has something similar but this is actually super simple to use. I spend hours and hours every week scouring for good music to buy and download and I actually like about 90% of the tracks served to me by this service!
The reason I feel it deserves a mention in here and in the podcast is that people right now are having a tough time getting their hands on good new music, as was pointed out in a recent podcast as well. We need more such services and we need such services to become bigger and better and having a bigger collection of music! So there you go, pass the word around and help these guys make it better ![]()
