"Music" app on the iPad

May 27, 2013 12:15AM PDT

Since the change to the "Music" app with the iOS 5 update, I found myself using the app less and less. The interface just looks bad,,"lyrics" are no longer supported, It no longer makes any sense to use it. I deleted all the music from my iPad and hid it. I would like to know if I could just remove the app period.

iPad "Music" app

I know you can't delete iOS apps, but I am frustrated by the change to wish that you COULD delete the now useless and ugly looking "Music" app that truly is in appealing for ME to use.

If you want to remove the icon then

You can delete the icons for these applications by enabling parental controls on your iPad. It doesn't get rid of the app but you won't see it if you don't want to.
