Mumms the word

by scott_wilder / February 13, 2006 3:23 AM PST

Well, we are in the season where my wife and I have little to no meaningful conversations. What would this season be? But the Olympic season of course!!!

She is a tried and true TV Olympic Games TV watcher. So newly armed with the knowledge of how to use the DVR; she uses BOTH TUNERS to record every game possible!!!

I on the other hand. Just get the news via NBC's Olympic RSS feed. SO I almost always know the results before she starts watching. And of course I'm not allowed to divulge the results.

Peace and quiet at last Happy

My wife not only watches all the winter olympics but ALSO reads the results online. Now that's olympic sized dedication.

My wife would never sit and watch an entire NFL game or MLB game. But suddenly at olympic time; she becomes the uber-fan. Maybe is a patriotic thing?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
