I had a problem as well, where the application crashed on me:
But the issue, as I stated in my post, was that I had a bad disk. The crash occurred in the preparing disk stage, but that happens right before it tells you that it is multiplexing (essentially compressing the video to be DVD format).
Try it with another disk. And the folks at Apple tell me that DVD Minus R is going to work a lot better than Plus R.
I have Canon HV 20, MacBook pro 17 (2008) i-Movie 09, i-DVD
In need of help again, I'm afraid, please!
I have successfully made a very good Movie of my Holiday in Annecy this year. The Movie plays beautifully on my TV (not HD), via the MacBook Pro. However, I have made three or four attempts to burn a DVD, both through "Share to i-DVD" and via
a Quick Time Movie version (1.31 GB). Each time, the process seems to be progressing normally- the "spinner" spins , the Video and the Audio appears to be being processed. At this stage I end up with a blank DVD and a message that there has been a Multiplexing problem. What have I done wrong? How do I eliminate the Multiplexing problem? I have "Googled" "Multiplexing" but I have only a vague idea of what it is.
