Question

multi user accounts on galaxy 3 lite

Dec 11, 2014 3:08PM PST

cannot get it to work. I added the primary account, then added the secondary account, when I tap switch it says it could take up to 5 minutes to create the account. I have let it sit and load upwards of 15 minutes and it never goes past the swirling circle load animation. I have tried numerous times, after restarting, clearing setting and app caches and closing out all apps. It does the same thing every time. So, unless I'm just missing something it must just not work on that tablet?

So I have thought about installing cyangenmod. Will I get multi user account abilities with that mod?

Ignore my first message, didn't post the entire question.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 Lite tablet that doesn't support multiple user accounts, despite having 4.2.2

I have rooted the tab and installed the switchme app but cannot get it to work. I added the primary account, then added the secondary account, when I tap switch it says it could take up to 5 minutes to create the account. I have let it sit and load upwards of 15 minutes and it never goes past the swirling circle load animation. Why not ask the author of switchtime and cyanogenmod? But you will have to tell them what specific root you used.

Where can I get contact information for cyangenmod author?

My bet is in XDA forums.

AKA "XDA Developers" seems to be the go to place for not only the roots but what they do and how to install.
