I'm sure you've heard that an artist doesn't blame the tools. Try one and if you're good, it will work out.

The mixing software you choose is the equivalent of deciding between boxers and briefs. There are many
different brands and styles, but the bottom line is this, try a variety of programs untill you find the one that you feel the most comforable with. Audio engineering is aquired skill, and if you spend most of your time trying to learn your software, your musical creativity will surely suffer.
