Are just as expensive as a HDMI Video card or the USB HDMI video card. If you think you are getting a 5 dollar VGA to HDMI cable, then STOP (again.) These are sold to those that wish they worked.
Hello all.
I am starting to pull my hair out a bit about how to best setup my system. I have all the big pieces but need a bit help with the little pieces and putting it all together. I have some new (ish) things. And some oldish things for my system.
Phillips 52 inch plasma TV with 2x scart ports 2x hdmi ports. RCA. (My main tv but also want connected to pc as second moniter, so I can stream etc)
LG 27 inch TV with VGA. 2x hdmi. RCA. Ethernet. USB. 2x scart. (To be used as pc moniter)
Dell pc with VGA output. 4x usb. (It's an old pc I got given and will be upgrading gradually when funds allow).
Ps3 (to be connected to Phillips tv preferably by hdmi)
Sky box (connected to phillips tv by preferably hdmi)
I also have a surround sound amp with lots of inputs for audio for all the devices. But would like to possibly split or isolate the two tvs (moniter) for sound from the pc.
Basically what I'm after is to get everything to work. I know I am going to have to purchase a vga to .... something converter. But just looking for ideas on anyone's thought on best solutions.
Thank you in advance. Any other questions just ask.
James.
