Define a new Word section whereever your own 'sections' start (Insert>Section break). Then set the page numbering of such a system to:
1. Continue from previous section.
2. Don't print page number on first page.
Together, this should do the trick.
Some useful info:

I can't say anything sensible about the indexing.
Hope this helps.

Hello
I'm working on a compiled book. Currently it is about 80 pages, and I am adding to it. In a needy "rest" time, I decided to start the index. I marked up the first 15 pages or so with index keywords, (clikcing "Mark All" so all instances of the word would be included in the index) but am wondering this: WhenI add to the book with the same words I've already used in the index, is there a way to "Mark" those words automatically, instead of manually going through the new pages? I know I could have done a concordance file, but that wouldn't work for some reason.
Second problem/issue/question is with page numbering. I have, as I said, about 80 pages. Some pages (i.e. Page 1, 12, 17, 30, 45, 79) are "Header" pages, the start of a new section. When I put on the page numbering in the footer, is there a way that I can have it count those as pages, but not print the page numebrs on? (i.e. page 1 would have no number, but page 2 would have "2" in the footer)
I appreciate any and all help in this!! Thanks!!!!
