MSN/WINDOWS MESSENGER HELP! PLEASE!

Hello! First of all Happy Holidays and Happy New Years to all!

Well...my problem is that both MSN and Windows Messenger keeps signing me out. "You have lost connection with .Net Passport". Both messengers sign me out like almost every 10 mins. It is getting really annoying. I did a virus and spyware scan on my whole pc...no virus...no spyware. I have unistalled and reinstalled both MSN and Windows Messengers...still didn't work. I went to Microsoft and updated my pc for any vulnerabilities...and again it still did not work. I do not know what to do. PLEASE someone out there HELP ME. I would really appreciate it.
