msn messenger font missing/problem

when i click on the msn messenger icon the box appears. there is a single button which obviously asks me to sign in, but the problem is the font on the face of the button can not be read. I see rectangles only. After i sign in, the same thing happens under the My Status line, which means i cant read My Display Name. A font is obviously missing, i think! Help me out guys. I use MSN of version 6.2 and Windows 98SE.

where can a download for free my original font sfor windows 98SE??

Original Windows 98 fonts ...

can be reinstalled totally free from your Windows 98 CD.

I don't suppose this is a special font for MSN Messenger, but did you try to reinstall that program?
