While SPYWARE continues to cause such errors, MSN is not sharing information about this error or how to troubleshoot. Much like AOL, they want you to call them for support.
Again, I can't fix this one, but suggest you never let SPYWARE reside on your machine. Try the free tools I note at http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6132-0.html?forumID=32&threadID=1313&messageID=15002
I am having a problem Signing Off from my ISP(msn 9.0).
My OS is Windows ME using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
When I sign off I get a MSN Error Report message that "MSN Explorer has experienced an internal error and will have to restart". Viewing technical information about the message I get error signiture information and also a page that shows "Microsoft Online Crash Analysis High Priority Updates Available: Install Missing Updates".
I have no update critical updates to install. I have to shut down/restart my computer everytime I sign off msn.
I spoke with a technical rep from my ISP(msn) and was told, based on information I provided, that my error was located in "Object Leaking & Embedding" of Internet Explorer 6.0 and that my problem was not an ISP(msn) problem.
Any ideas on how I can fix my problem?
