MSN Explorer deletes JPEGs from incoming emails

by lewsteves / December 14, 2004 1:47 AM PST

How can I prevent MSN Explorer from deleting JPEG files which are attached to incoming emails? I am able to receive them in Outlook 2002, but MSN Explorer 9.10.0009.2900 deletes them, saying "FIles were not scanned for viruses." FYI, I am running AVG and Zone Alarm.

It's simple. They made some varient that has no database for others to look at and while I've have MSN access for years, sometime about 6 years ago I deleted the MSN software and never tried it again.

Why use it?

Outlook 2000, Firefox, Mozilla, Open Office, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Suse Linux 9.2, Tugzip, CDBurnerXP, Cosmic C compiler, Visual Basic, PODS (a PalmOS developers tool), SETI (well it runs...) POPFILE (email filter), a Mount St. Helens watcher program I wrote, various Ulead video software, Jasc PaintShop Pro 7, MySQL (a database server) and for games I have this XBox.

Hope this helps.
