Then it's the other parts such as the cable or motherboard. Laptops are simple in that there are less parts than a desktop. Sadly this means repairs are not cheap.
I had a problem with my laptop display, it used to be like the display is turning of and turning on trying to be connected. When I give it a tap it goes fine. Recently it was fully turned off when I removed the RAM and restarted it. I had the same problem before where my board was sorted and I got it fixed. Now I connected a new display and the same problem persisted. I disconnected the display from the board and I connected to external monitor it shows my OS booting. But this doesn't happen when I connect my laptop display again to the board. Even the external monitor doesn't show up. External monitor shows up only when my laptop monitor is disconnected. My laptop display is good I have tested it. Somewhere in between the connections there's a problem. Please help me out with this issue!
