It appears like the hard drive is having problems.. Either dead entirely or the connections themselves aren't making contact..
If you've got XP on the drive, was this system working before and it's now stopped functioning? Did you bring the hard drive from another computer without installing the operating system and motherboard drivers after it was connected to the new machine? (XP needs to be installed on the drive AFTER the HD has been connected to the motherboard.)
A little more information would be helpful.
I have an on board D-Bracket which shows alarm:-
Boot attempt - Thi will low stack & boot via INT 19h (doing a google search has not helped) boot sequence as below
My PC developed a problem. On initial boot in BIOS, i get the initial screen with bios version and also intial screen of HD etc. but then it fails to see any IDE cabling connections and the screen goes blank with curser "flashing" top LHS. I can go into Set up Main menu and continue to see Standard CMOS features, advanced BIOS features etc. Indications show the boot going through the floppy and cd rom drives but nothing on the screen
