When you check for msconfig, can you rightclick it and click on 'run as admin' ?

I know in Vista you can do that ...

Sounds like an "OWNERSHIP" issue.

That msconfig.exe is located in C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries

Even though you are logged in as an Administrator, see if "Taking Ownership" can help;
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308421

If that works, it makes me wonder what other issues you have. Losing ownership of such Windows folder utilities could be a sign of malware infection attempting to block the admin from accessing certain files.

I think you should report this trojan to our experts in the Spyware, viruses and security forum.

Make sure the name of that Trojan is correct, (I couldn't find any definite hits in Google), and in your post refer to this discussion by posting a link to your first post here.

Good luck.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
