MS Works Calendar

Jun 7, 2005 4:44AM PDT

Cannot access calendar. Error message says that certain files are unavailable and advises reinstalling works. After doing so several times, the problem is still there. Am using MS Millenium and MS Office 2000. Thank you.

Simple...?

"MS Millenium and MS Office 2000" will have nothing to do with Works' Calendar files. Try installing your Works.

Having MS Office with MS Works can cause issues
Jun 7, 2005 5:02AM PDT

I have both installed myself (Works Suite 2000 and Office 2003), but there are issues and conflicts when both are there. For one thing I notice that if I start up the Word (2000) processor from my Works Suite it will have to go through some re-setups if the last Word processor was my other Word (Word 2003, as in Office XP).

I have not tried the calendar portion of Works, but I would expect similar conflicts. So it does not surprise me at all.

If you really need a better calendar tool than what Office supplies, then I would suggest you find another stand-alone tool, rather than using the Works calendar functions.

Good luck.
