I agree. The amount of hours you'll spend on this plus the cost of tools is about 100K bucks. This is not a known feature of Word in the IE browser.
May someone prove us wrong.

Bob
I'm having a real issue with displaying the MS Word status bar in IE. I've been playing around with Word for a while, but maybe there is something in IE I can do instead. Are there keyboard events I can capture in IE using API or something? Look at this following discussion I've been in so you can understand my issue better:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.word.vba.general&mid=7c84df5f-de4f-4119-ac3c-cb9b8ed0afb6
I would love to resolve this issue, so if there is something I can do in IE I would like to try it.
Thanks for your time and help!
