MS Word - Pasting Image v Inserting Image

Hi All,

I work with MS Word and images a lot. I have usually copied and pasted images into Word (even images I have saved in a file).

However, a thought came across my mind today: Is there a difference if I perform a copy/paste of an image or if I use the "insert picture" function available in word?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Have you tried both mothods, and noticed differences or problems ? I have used both, but haven't, noticed any difference nor problem, but I have only done it for very simple "jobs". Since you "work with" Word and images, perhaps you are in a better position to experiment and find out and later share the results ?
