It will either be something Microsoft will exchange out as a defect or you'll get your answer.
Bob
I just installed two identical MS Wireless Optical Mice on two computers that are networked together running Windows XP/SP2. They are about 6 feet apart. Each mouse works fine on its own PC. But, the mouse connected to the main PC also moves the cursor on the client PC (the reverse is not true). I've tried reconnecting each mouse to it's designated receiver, but that didn't work. I couldn't find any information on this problem with the Troubleshooting Wizard in Control Panel or on the Microsoft Hardware website.
Has anyone encountered this problem or know of a fix for it, other than buying a different brand of mouse.
Thanks for your help.
