Question

MS Picture It 7.0 * How Do I Change/Remove Recent Files List

Apr 16, 2012 1:23AM PDT

Good Day! I hope you're enjoying a pleasant one.

I have Microsoft Picture It 7.0. (aka: MS Picture It! Photo 7.0). I'm running Windows XP Home Edition on an Acer AspireOne AOA150 Netbook.

Regarding the File Menu - How Do I Change/Remove Recent Files List?

Under the File Menu, it shows 4 Recently Edited Files... is there any way to remove this list... an .ini file, or registry edit... maybe... I just know there's some hacker type out there that knows what to do...

Thanks for any assistance you can share with me.

Did you try searching the registry?

Sorry, but as my machine is not yours and I'm no hacker (just a programmer) I can't offer any step by step but do share how I find it or what tool I might use.

Found & Edited Reg Entry - No Luck
Apr 16, 2012 5:10AM PDT

I found the Registry Entry, deleted the entries within the Recent Files... and then deleted the whole entry altogether, but when I re-started the program it put the entries back.

Was a Good Try!
