MS Office Beta

Nov 17, 2005 8:39PM PST

Well, I looked at the slide shows and I was really looking at the Email functionality in Outlook as this is where I reside the most in the office product side. Personally I am left a little flat. From what I can glean from what I have read and seen, I can't see many enterprises jumping on the band wagon for this one. When you look at the current release and how it already has all the integration that you need (i.e. SharePoint and shared calendars and shared tasks), what is the point?

But to be fair, this IS A BETA. I am curious if anyone here has obtained a copy and is trying it out. Like to hear your thoughts.

On another note. Buying the software is cheap, just go and get a site license for this. Wonder how MS is going to handle this one. You used to have to take a course on figuring out how to license MS products.
