MS Office 2007 will not function if Adobe PS CS4 is on

If I am working in Photoshop or Lightroom, I cannot access MS Office Outlook 2007. If Outlook is on and minimized, I can then use Photoshop and Lightroom and send photo files using Outlook. If I believe I will be sending images, I access Outlook prior to opening either Lightroom or Photoshop. When I don't think to do this I have a dead e-mail shortcut, and I also tried going to Start, All Programs, MS Office Outlook 2007...and it is also dead!

Sadly I don't have that combination so could you follow up with Adobe's and Microsoft's response to this?
