MS Office 2003 Powerpoint Package To CD Weird Error.

Today in my office I was making use of the Package to CD feature in MS Powerpoint 2003. Near the end of the process, it displays an error message... "Failed to write data to the CD."

However when the cd is removed and tried in a number of other computers it works splendidly. The error though is a problem because it greatly distressed my boss who could not figure out why it popped up. She is now sure she has a virus on her machine, which we have attempted to assure her, but to no avail.

If anyone has experienced said error using this feature, please advise on fixes.

Most versions of windows don't...

Most versions of Windows don't write to CD. My Office certainly can't do this.

However, you could package it to some directory then use CD recording software to do the final write.
