In short, repairs are far too rough without the 95 CD and the drivers for that machine. AOL will likely hang up on you (in all ways.)
My best advice is to move to an OS you have the CD and license and one that is supported by the applications you want to run.

A fiend installed AOL 8.0 on her computer which has windows 95 as the operating system. I resurected everything almost... I cannot get rid of the ms dos compatibility mode for the hard drive. I dont have the original win95 setup cd. The help cd will not autorun and I havent been able using any previous help articles use the help cd to correct my problem. Yes I do know 8.0 is not compatable with win 95 but she did not. It took a while to stop the win95 to stop treating the prob as a boot virus.
