MS Access Error

I try to export data from excel to access & I get the error:
Active X Componant can't creat object.
How do I fix that??

Every time I try to Get External Data / Import this is the error I receive:

but much better. ActiveX is one word, not two.

gives 5 common possible causes (with solution). So the answer to your question is "possibly in one of those 5 ways". Just try all.

And why don't you post your OS and version of Office, as Bob asked. That might make a difference.

"Exact" error messages do matter.

If you want better answers, be sure to duplicate the full and complete error message in your posts. Even better is when the "Error message." is in quotes so others can tell what are your words and what come from the program in question.

By disregarding the forum tip about "all the necessary information (ie: operating system, model number, hardware, software, etc) that will help others identify your problem for a speedy resolution", you may get an inexact on no answer.
