MR-00EA1 media extennder doesnt play ahn videos & sees very

finall got this samsung media exteder hooked up but when i elect a video i get a msg on the tv svcreen saying

VIDEO ERROR FILES NEEDED 2 display video are not installed or not working correctly. plese restart windows media center or restart computer
doesnt work when i restart eith er.

i've contact samung st least 10 times butthey cant even get me 2 the correct department to get info on whatthis problem is.
media center works fine in vista ult and i can pla y much but videos and most pixs forget it.
is thereanything i can do? really didnt wanna send it back

any help, suggestons or info would be appreciated

What files are you trying to play that won't work, and what OS are you using?

won't play any type video file

any type of video file fails.

latest updated vista ultimate. i have 2 1tb drives full of every type avi, mpeg, divx, wmv u name it. even jpg's

npthing will play but music files
i know the extender is stereo only but bein g bedridden i'd even take that if i could get it 2 work.

this is the 2nd one, sent back the frst withot plugging it in -2 weak. i have 2 accept the fact my eyesight,illness,meds (all narcotics) and age have destroyed my ability 2 think & resson correctly (was the baddest engineer at nasa & Gm tech in my dayz) let alone do any physical work. dog!
doesnt mean i',m giving up everyting just this extender. i also dont likethe fact u must run another line 4 the weather/news. could plug in my wireless samsung stick but the h.ll with it.

i'll still be here looking at the 850 model 2 go with my 3rd HT-TZ515 receiver. they are so simple but with great snd just couldnt passem up. and the ln32/37A850 looks pretty good (andthe wife does sqwak at anything i buy! i'm happy as a Pent 4 running winbloze 3.1
