Does this happen to all mpg's or just those you convert to mpg? If it happens on converted files, what file converson program do you use?

There's a link here that may be useful;

I've heard that Virtualdub, (can be found on Google), can rotate videos using a Rotate filter, but I've never used the filter myself.

Or it may be a codec issue. Make sure you use the right codec for the file, (use G-Spot which can be found on Google to find out which codec the film needs). You can download codec packs from the internet. The ones I use came with my free DivX player from http://www.divx.com

Good luck

are gotten at the video card makers website or off of the original cd that came with the card.

When you reinstall an OS you will get your hands dirty with all these little details unless you are using a restoration CD supplied by the computer maker.

This may be the program you are talking about that comes with the Radeon series graphics cards. You can download it at www.ati.com
