mpeg files compression problems

Sep 5, 2007 5:30PM PDT

I have compressed a number of mpg(mpeg) files with PKZIP 32bit software that I purchased. Now when I want to view the files (after being "unzipped" I only get about 25%(guessing) of the original file. In various viewers of the file, the video stops at the new "elapsed time" but the audio seams to continue on until the end of the original end of the videos!!! I'm lokking for any and all possible fixes for this problem.

Cheers!

Try another player.

Since you have a PC you might be running Windows. If so, look up VLC PLAYER and see if it plays the file without this error.

Or perhaps a different compression/zip tool, or non at all.
