I have songs in WMP that were Ripped from pre-recorded CDs which I now would like to burn in MP3 format so I can get all or most of them on one disc. I have never gone this way before and changing to MP3 is new to me.
Can WMP do this or should I use another burner/player?
Thank You

I have and use iTunes will it convert to MP3? Also what about a program/player/converter called AltoMP3 Gold, I have it also and it looks like it will do what I want? So what do you use? Have you ever changed tracks ripped from CD over to mp3? If so may I ask how you did this?

It's been unstable for years as the versions change what WMP does and does not do changes.

What do I use today?

CDEX - Free and makes MP3s from CDs just fine.
CDBURNERXP - Free and makes MP3 CDs, AudioCD and more.
iTunes - With one setting change it makes MP3s from CDs (please do not ask me where that change is.)

For music I don't need much else. Also I have never used Alltomp3 but others have. I avoided that issue altogether.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
