I may be confused....but do you mean you want to connect an MP3 player to your car radio via FM ?
If so, there are plenty of third party adapters for iPod. Most use the iPod proprietary connector for power but ones which only use the player's headphone socket will work with other MP3 players.
I'm not sure I follow your point about wireless stations, though I could see there might be a problem with very powerful stations interfering as you move from one locality to another.
I really want an MP3 player that I can play through my truck speakers. My stereo does not have an auxillary plug for a direct connect. I see the add on devices that you must find the available FM station to tune to in order to listen but the obvious problem is you can drive out of that FM frequency area and must find a new one.
I think Ipod makes one that plugs into your power port and the Ipod into that small unit and it will tune/find the FM frequency for you automatically. I could be wrong about its ability. I don't want an Ipod!
All other players seem to utilize the units that you must find the stations is there not a company OR product that would allow me to plug in my MP3 player and it would send the signal and find the station for me? At least locate it then I can tune it in?
Sorry if it does not make a lot of sense but I am new to the accessories available for the players. I don't want any earbuds or earphones at all which is wny I really want it thru the stereo.
Thanks for any help.
